Review Process

 

An online peer review process is used through Manuscript Central. The overall peer review process is summarized with the following steps.

  1. Author submits paper
  2. Administrator checks that electronic file is readable and then passes it to Editor
  3. Editor asks Associate Editor to conduct review process
  4. Associate Editor checks for scope and conflict of interest
  5. Associate Editor requests reviewers
  6. Associate Editor passes information to reviewers that agree to review paper
  7. Reviewers review paper
  8. Associate Editor collects reviews
  9. Associate Editor makes a preliminary decision
  10. Editor reviews preliminary decision and notifies author of decision.

The Transactions on Vehicular Technology are published by the IEEE and sponsored by VTS
