Announcements
- The final exam will be held on Monday, December 10, from 5:30-7:30pm in
NEB 201. A 8.5X11 crib sheet is allowed and a calculator is allowed.
- We will have two video classes Tuesday November 20 in NEB 102
in 4th period (10:40-11:30am) and the 6th period (12:50-1:40pm). The videos
will be shown on the following Monday and Wednesday.

Solutions
- Due to the confusion in the calendar,
the previous annoucement regarding class on November 2 was made. Since
this Friday is homecoming day, WE WILL NOT HAVE CLASS ON NOVEMBER 2. THE
HOMEWORK DUE DATE WILL BE CHANGED TO MONDAY!
- We will resume class on November 2, Friday.
- Time change: the video-taping class will be from
10:40-11:30am, Friday on October 26 in Room NEB 102, you are invited
to attend. The video-tape will
be shown on the following Monday class. There will be NO class on October
31.
- Please check Q&A for some explanations for Homework Solution 4. Problem 18

- Midterm: It is a two-hour close-book exam, one 8.5X11
sheet for formulae is permitted and simple calculators are allowed. The
midterm covers materials up to data link layer, before MAC.

- Please notice the office hour change for the TA.
- Midterm: Among the messages I received today (10/3), the
consensus is that we have the midterm on October 19, Friday,
4:00-6:00pm, NEB 201.
- Midterm exam: we temporarily arrange the midterm exam on
either October 19 or October 22 in the afternoon from 5:00-6:30pm
in NEB 201. I prefer October 22. Please let me know whether you have
any conflict with the arrangement. Thank you!
